Jan Weldin Presley, 

Jan Weldin Presley is grateful to have worked with Rodney Jones, Judy Jordan, and Allison Joseph at

Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She is also happy to have written with Susan Aizenberg, Geffrey Davis, and other poets. A reading coach and retired high school literature and film teacher, Jan lives with her husband in the hills of southern Illinois. They are thankful for the Shawnee Forest's trees and creeks and bluffs, and for the love of friends, family, and for the lingering pull of poetry.
